A toast to compromise
LEXINGTON, KENTUCKY- Some people in Kentucky are sending a barrel of bourbon to Washington hoping it will spark some conversation and compromise.
They call the "Bourbon Barrel of Compromise." It was filled Monday in Lexington and was loaded onto a bus. It is headed to the Intercontinental Willard Hotel as a nod to Henry Clay and his use of bourbon to get things done.
All of this started when President Obama told reporters he'd like to have some Kentucky bourbon with Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell in trying to get Republicans and Democrats working together.
