A company in Arizona says its successfully completed its first scale test flight of a high-altitude balloon and capsule that can deliver people to the outer atmosphere.
World View Enterprises says it launched the flight last week in Roswell.New Mexico.
The president of the company says it broke the world record for highest parafoil flight at 120,000 feet.
World View Enterprises says its target is to start offering balloon flights to the outer limits in 2016 at a price of $75,000 per-person.
The flight plan is six people in a gondola reaching 100,000 feet for two-hours.
