A good deed shut down
LEAWOOD, KANSAS- A nine-year-old boy was told by the city of Leawood in Kansas to remove his "Little Free Library" from his front yard.
Sharing books through small wooden structures is a widespread trend and Spencer Collins and his family erected a blue box on red stilts asking people to read and share books for free.
The city says the structure violates an ordinance after neighbors complained and ordered it removed.
The Collins family goes before the city council next month to ask members to reconsider the order.
