It is a mild and muggy start to this Monday with partly to mostly cloudy skies along with a few showers. A cold front is located north of Baton Rouge and this will set off additional showers and thunderstorms during the morning hours. Temperatures are in the lower 70s.

The cold front & weak disturbance will move through Baton Rouge this afternoon and this will bring more scattered showers and thunderstorms. A few could be strong at times with heavy rain, gusty winds, hail and frequent lightning strikes. Otherwise, it will be mostly cloudy with highs in the upper 80s.

The rain will come to an end tonight as the cold front stalls along the Coast. We will be mostly clear to partly cloudy with lows in the upper 60s to near 70.
