"A Christmas miracle:" middle finger lights gone
DENHAM SPRINGS- A homeowner has removed a Christmas light display that was decorated to form a pair of hands showing middle fingers extended.
The lights were on the roof of Sarah Childs' home, but are no longer there. Childs apologized for the display that has, for two years, created controversy in the neighborhood.
"It's really a Christmas miracle," one neighbor told WBRZ News 2 Tuesday.
"The neighborhood is happy and for now it looks like there's peace in this neighborhood and hopefully there will be peace in the world," Floyd McLain said.
