We still have some chilly temperatures in the lower to mid 40s as we start this Halloween Wednesday under mostly clear skies.
Warmer temperatures are going to finally return to the Capital City today. This is due to the winds shifting from the northwest to the west and south. This will bring up some warm air from the Gulf of Mexico. At the same time, a weak disturbance will move through in the upper-levels. That will give us some high clouds which will make it mostly sunny. High temperatures will be in the upper 70s.
It will not be as cold tonight thanks to the west to southwest winds. Expect mostly clear skies with lows in the lower 50s. Some areas in South Mississippi may still be in the upper 40s.
