A cab ride to a heist
WILMINGTON-DELAWARE- A woman called a cab for a trip to a convenience store and loaded up her toddler to go with her at 3:30 in the morning.
Turns out, the cab ride was to rob the store, according to police. State troopers say Amanda Paoletti told the cabbie to wait and indicated to the store clerk she had a gun and demanded money.
Her one-year-old daughter was left in the cab with the driver.
Troopers say she got the money and left in the yellow colored cab. Investigators later found the driver who said he had no idea about the robbery and told them where he dropped the woman off.
Authorities arrested her and charged her with robbery and endangering a child.
