The plan to build a football stadium and track that would be used by the Carver High School teams as well as the public, picked up a couple of big supporters.

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees and former NFL running back Marshall Faulk hope to raise the money necessary to complete the project by the end of the Super Bowl's 4th Quarter.

Brees and Faulk are asking donors to text the word "DREAM" to 50555 and will be asked to confirm a donation of $10.

All proceeds will go through The Brees Dream Foundation to build the facility, with any additional funds going toward the redevelopment of Carver High School where the stadium will be built.

Backers have already raised $1.1 million of the $1.9 million needed to complete the project.
