PLAQUEMINE -Emotional calls for help have been released, after a 17-year-old was gunned down Wednesday.

"I just shot somebody in my house," a caller advises to a 911 operator in Iberville Parish. The shaky voice continues loudly, "He pulled a gun... And I shot him."

According to police, the voice is Cordias Walker, 22, confessing to the crime. Walker said he shot Wilbert Myles, 17, in self-defense.

He said, "The victim had a weapon," Capt. Kenny Payne said.

"However, none of the witnesses corroborate that... and neither is there any evidence. We have not found another weapon," Payne said.

Investigators believe the entire ordeal might be connected to drugs.

Walker faces a murder charge.
