ST. AMANT - Just days after a harrowing 911 call alerted first responders to the tragedy on Stringer Bridge Road, Tandy Ragas is still reliving the night.
"They were all screaming, save my babies, save my babies, please, there's four babies in there, get them out," said Ragas, who called 911 just seconds after the crash.
Ragas' husband, Toby, jumped in after the girls, and helped pull two to safety.
"I went and got the first little girl that he brought to the bank, and he was having a lot of problems getting the second little girl, the vehicle was taking them both down, she was half way in the vehicle and she was determined to get her sister out, so he had to get her out and bring her to the bank," said Ragas.
Now she hopes the two girls that survived the crash can carry on, with the memory of the sisters who didn't survive, Faith Castilaw and Patience Lobell.
"They were just so frantic they just kept crying about the two little girls that went down and no matter what I did, I just couldn't, I just couldn't comfort them," said Ragas.
