911 call, pictures of wild party released
SORRENTO- A father was concerned for the safety of what he believed to be a hundred or more drunk teenagers when he called 911 to report an underage, wild party in Ascension Parish this weekend.
The 911 recordings were released exclusively to the WBRZ News 2 Investigative Unit Tuesday, a day after the sheriff's office reported the raid. Saturday morning, deputies shut the party down and arrested half of the nearly 100 teenagers who were partying at a house on Dolly Lane.
"I'm certain there's a lot of underage drinking going on. I don't think nothing good will come out of this," the caller reported to the emergency dispatcher.
Neighbors said the party started Friday night and deputies were still working to clear it Saturday at 3 a.m.
Deputies said the party was thrown at a house where the parents were not in town.
Most of the teens who got caught attended a private school in Baton Rouge.
