BATON ROUGE - The state Attorney General's Office announced Monday that eight people were arrested in a recent undercover investigation into online child pornography.

The arrests included five people from around Baton Rouge and New Roads. One suspect was charged with more than 100 counts of child porn possession.

The AG's Office said their Internet Crimes Against Children task force worked with local, state, and federal officials in a two-week undercover operation.

The following people were arrested in the operation:

  • Nicholas Istre, Baton Rouge - Molestation of a Juvenile, Indecent Behavior with Juveniles
  • Dane Brown, New Roads - Pornography Involving Juveniles (1 count of Distribution), Pornography Involving Juveniles (1 count of Possession)
  • Lucas Marsh, Baton Rouge - Pornography Involving Juveniles (3 counts of Distribution), Pornography Involving Juveniles (130 counts of Possession)
  • Bolton Morris, Baton Rouge - Pornography Involving Juveniles (1 count of Distribution)
  • Trey Brown, Baton Rouge - Pornography Involving Juveniles (1 count of Distribution)
  • Kenneth Jurl, Bossier City - Pornography Involving Juveniles (1 count of Distribution), Pornography Involving Juveniles (1 count of Possession)
  • David Williford, Greenwood - Pornography Involving Juveniles (30 counts of Distribution), Pornography Involving Juveniles (1 count of Possession)
  • Paul Woodell, Shreveport - Pornography Involving Juveniles (1 count of Distribution)

Attorney General Buddy Caldwell said the investigation involved members from the Louisiana Attorney General's Cyber Crime Unit, Louisiana State Police, U.S. Homeland Security Investigations, Federal Bureau of Investigations, Bossier City Marshal's Office, Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office, Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office, St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office, East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office, East Baton Rouge District Attorney's Office and Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office.
