THERIOT - Sheriff's deputies in Terrebonne Parish asked for help solving a break-in on a houseboat in which several items were taken, including a 70-inch television.

Sheriff Jerry Larpenter said the burglary was reported Wednesday night at 2015 Brady Road near Theriot.

Investigators were told someone broke the houseboat's windows and got inside, taking a 70-inch and a 32-inch TV along with other items worth more than $2,000 in total.

Deputies said the burglary might have happened anytime during the week before it was reported to the sheriff's office.

Anyone with information about this crime should call the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office at (985) 876-2500. Callers can remain anonymous, and could be eligible for a cash reward.
