POLLOCK- A 58-year-old from this central Louisiana town faces drug possession charges after a sheriff's deputy said he found her with marijuana and a smoking device.
The Grant Parish deputy stopped Teresa Burnaman after she weaved into his lane on a country highway, KALB TV reported on its website Friday. According to the deputy, Burnaman said she crossed the center line while she was trying to light a cigarette. But, the deputy said he didn't notice smokes in her car.
Instead, he reported there was a device used to smoke pot.
The woman admitted to having weed and the device, the station reported.
She faces drug and traffic charges and has a $1,535.50 bond.
