ETHEL-- East Feliciana deputies arrested five people for child cruelty and operation of a clandestine lab after they say they found all five people with a child about five years old inside a trailer littered with meth making materials.

A tip led two East Feliciana probation officers to the trailer at Spaghetti Farms Trailer Park.

They said the people inside were so strung out, they didn't even bother to keep the child away from the meth or to hide the evidence they were cooking drugs.

Just outside the trailer, you could see bottles and boxes and everything deputies believe one would need to cook meth.

Brittany Hobgood, Frankie Stevens, Jeffery Lee, Jeremy Wegner, and Joshua Rogers are all behind bars tonight.

Deputies also believe the five people arrested may have been the people who have stolen $40,000 worth of copper from the area in the past few months.
