42-year-old woman killed in hit-and-run crash on Florida Blvd.
BATON ROUGE – Baton Rouge Rouge Police Traffic detectives are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred in the 15900 block of Florida Boulevard.
The crash claimed the life of a 42-year-old black woman, according to BRPD. The crash happened around 3 a.m. on Friday.
According to BRPD, the woman was walking on the edge of the inside lane of the street just west of the O'Neal Lane/Central Thruway intersection when she was struck. The woman died at the scene.
Anyone with information about the crash is urged to call the BRPD Traffic Homicide Division at 389-7819.
