4-vehicle wreck snarls Miss. River bridge traffic
BATON ROUGE - Traffic officials closed all but one lane of I-10 West crossing the Mississippi River Bridge after a wreck at the beginning of rush hour.
The Department of Transportation and Development said the wreck happened at the top of the bridge, blocking the left and center lanes of travel.
Baton Rouge Police said four vehicles were involved in the wreck, and there were no injuries.
DOTD said all lanes of traffic were open again shortly after 5:15 p.m. with congestion backed up to Siegen Lane.
