4 injured after truck overturns carriage in French Quarter
NEW ORLEANS - A mule-drawn carriage was struck and overturned by a truck in New Orleans Saturday evening.
According to WWLTV in New Orleans, the incident happened around 6:40 p.m. in the 600 block of St. Peter Street. Three adults and one minor were injured and transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Witnesses say the truck made a fast turn and crashed into the carriage. The driver of the truck was not injured.
WWLTV reports that the mule is reportedly in stable condition.
