Four New Orleans residents have been indicted on charges stemming from a May 4 bank robbery in Edgard.
Federal prosecutors said 27-year-old Errol Harris entered the Capital One Bank branch on Highway 18 and pointed a handgun at an employee while another suspect, 36-year-old Corey Richardson, hopped over the teller's counter and stole money from the drawers.
Two others, 21-year-old Vincent Beverly and 20-year-old Doriyah Jordan, are accused of assisting in their attempted escape.
All four suspects were charged Thursday in a three-count indictment handed up by a federal grand jury.
