3rd suspect arrested in MSU shooting
STARKVILLE, Miss. - A third suspect in the shooting death of a Mississippi State University student has been arrested in Florida.
Mississippi Department of Public Safety spokesman Warren Strain says Trent Crump turned himself into authorities near Gainesville, Fla., on Tuesday.
Strain says investigators with the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation developed information that Crump was traveling to the Gainesville area and worked through the U. S. Marshals Task Force to release information regarding his direction of travel.
Crump, along with Duntae Harvey and Mason Jones, are charged with capital murder in the death of John Sanderson of Madison. He was killed outside a dorm room in Evans Hall Saturday night.
