30-year-old cold case solved
TOLEDO, OHIO- A 30-year-old cold case of murder is solved with a man pleading guilty to beating, raping and nearly decapitating a woman.
Andrew Gustafson admitted to involuntary manslaughter and rape charges and he got 15-years in prison. He is from Michigan and at one time lived outside Toledo, Ohio where Janean Brown's body was found in 1983.
He was a suspect at the time, but wasn't arrested until two-years ago after new DNA testing linked him to the crime.
