3 rescued from helicopter crash in the Gulf
NEW ORLEANS - A helicopter went down Tuesday in the Gulf of Mexico, about 30 miles southwest of Terrebonne Bay.
A nearby oilrig, Trinity V, reported the incident this afternoon.
According to reports, three people were on board when the chopper crashed.
An offshore supply vessel rescued them from the wreckage.
No injuries were reported.
