FLUKER - Troopers say three people were killed in a crash on US 51 near Fluker at around 5:30 Monday night.

28-year-old Kaleb Collette, of Kentwood, was driving a pickup truck southbound on US 51 when he failed to stop his vehicle and crashed into the rear of a broken down tractor trailer driven by 46-year-old David James, of Amite.

Collette and his two passengers, 27-year-old Kenneth Parnell and 27-year-old Lee Ross, both also of Kentwood, all were not wearing seat belts and sustained fatal injuries in the wreck.
