3 dead, including suspect in Marine base shooting
QUANTICO, Va. - A lockdown has been lifted at a Marine base in Virginia, where authorities say a Marine killed a male and female colleague last night before killing himself.
Authorities found the body of one Marine late last night in barracks and the bodies of two other Marines later.
All three were staff members at the Officer Candidates School at Marine Corps Base Quantico.
It's the second tragedy to hit the Marine Corps this week. Seven members of a unit from North Carolina were killed Monday when a mortar shell exploded during a training exercise in Nevada.
