GRAY- Resulting from an investigation, Troopers of the Louisiana State Police located and arrested three people responsible for a hit and run accident involving a pedestrian on Wednesday night on LA 24 South. The accident took the life of 53-year-old Troy Jackson.
The crash occurred Wednesday around 11:30 p.m. on LA 24 South near the Evergreen Cajun Center when a Chevrolet Silverado truck was traveling in the left lane.
Jackson was also in the left when the truck approached and struck him. He sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Terrebonne Parish Coroner.
