3 arrested, 1 wanted for copper thefts

Investigators with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's office arrested three people for a recent rash of copper thefts. A fourth suspect is still at large.

Corey John Trimble, 19, Jude Derise, 20, and Tony Lyn Guidry were booked in St. Martin Parish Correctional Center and charged with theft. Investigators are looking for another suspect, Donald J. Harrell, in connection with the copper thefts.

Investigators say the rash of copper thefts began two weeks ago. The group targeted farms and residences, according to investigators.
