2nd shooting in Port Allen
PORT ALLEN - Residents who stay in Port Allen are dealing with more and more violence.
Saturday afternoon marked the second shooting, for the city, within three days.
Witnesses told News Two that Saturday afternoon, multiple gun shots went off near Franklin street and one person was hit in the leg.
Some people who live in the neighborhood are ready for things to change.
"Being that it's such a small area...pretty much everybody knows everyone...we were raised up together. You hate to see the violence because it shouldn't be," said Raymond Banks, whose family heard gunshots.
Both shootings are still under investigation.
