LIVINGSTON - Jonathan Foy, 20, of Holden, LA, was sentenced to 25 years hard labor today for a 2009 aggravated sexual assault.

At that time, Foy was 17 and the victim was 5 years old.

Foy was arrested in February 2009 after the victim's mother reported him to the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office.

He was convicted of the charge on June 22, 2011. The twelve-person jury deliberated for less than an hour to unanimously find Foy guilty.

Foy must serve his sentence without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence,
according to District Attorney Scott M. Perrilloux.
