22k screened at checkpoints this summer
BATON ROUGE- Data released late Wednesday show proof, police are cracking down on people who drive drunk.
From July 1 to August 18, there were 17 checkpoints where 22,000 vehicles were screened. In the summer checkpoint season, 203 people have been arrested.
Authorities have promised a show-of-force through the Labor Day holiday.
