2 wanted in Coursey Blvd apartment invasion, robbery
BATON ROUGE - Detectives are looking for two men wanted in connection with a Coursey Blvd home invasion that happened earlier this month.
The East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office reports two men forced their way into an apartment in the Evergreen at Coursey Place apartment complex on June 6. Once inside the apartment, the men tied up three victims and made off with numerous items including a Regions Bank debit card with the PIN attached.
Shortly after the home invasion and robbery, the stolen debit card was used to make several unauthorized withdrawal from area ATMs, according to deputies. One of the withdrawals was made at a Regions Bank located at 3121 S. Sherwood Forest Blvd, where surveillance cameras captured images of one of the suspects.
The man captured on security camera is described by deputies as being between 18 and 20 years of age. He is wearing a dark colored long sleeve shirt, light colored pants, black gloves and grey hat.
