2 wanted for questioning in Amite shoplifting spree
AMITE - Sheriff's deputies in Tangipahoa Parish asked for assistance Tuesday in identifying two men wanted in connection with a series of alleged shoplifting incidents.
Detectives said they are currently investigating reports of a string of shopliftings that happened between May 14 and July 10 at a dollar store on Hwy 16 in Amite.
The men, seen by surveillance cameras at the scene, are considered persons of interest in the crimes and are wanted by TPSO for questioning.
