2 Texas women killed in Baton Rouge had criminal history
BATON ROUGE - Two women found dead in quiet Baton Rouge neighborhood both had criminal histories.
The 23-year-olds Brandy Gilbert and Corrine Rayford were shot to death and discovered in a car on Boone Drive near Kenileworth parkway. Both women are from the Dallas area.
Gilbert had been previously arrested on forgery.
According to reports, Rayford was arrested back in 2012 for prostitution. She was using a prostitution website, and arrested last year for human trafficking after recruiting a runway 13 year old.
Police said the women could have been killed elsewhere and brought to that location.
