2 Seam Dream charity raising money for cancer research
BATON ROUGE - The '2 Seam Dream' charity, nearly two years old, has once again raised money for cancer research.
Founder Rick Greene, former LSU and Major League Baseball pitcher, told Sports 2 today at the celebrity softball event he thinks Saturday's events helped raise around $20,000.
Former LSU and MLB players came to Alex Box Stadium Saturday to participate in an autograph session, silent auction, and celebrity softball game.
2 Seam Dream is also putting on a crawfish broil at Walk On's Restaurant on Nicholson Drive to raise more money with the community's support.
