2 men wanted for stealing packages from doorsteps
BATON ROUGE - In yet another instance of doorstep robberies over the holidays, Baton Rouge Police Detectives are on the look out for two men accused of stealing delivered packages from the front porch of several homes in the Baton Rouge area.
Police said the times of the thefts varied with some occurring during broad daylight while others took place under cover of darkness. The neighborhoods in which the thefts happened was not included in the release from detectives.
The first suspect is described as being 5'3" in height and weighing between 130 and 150 lbs. He was captured on home security cameras wearing dark shorts and a light colored jacket while committing the crime. Detectives said the second suspect was between 5'5"-5'8" tall and was wearing dark pants along with a green hood sweatshirt. Both suspects were seen leaving the area with the stolen packages on foot.
