2 men shot outside local daiquiri shop

BATON ROUGE - Police are searching for clues after two men were found shot overnight in Baton Rouge.

The shooting happened Thursday morning just before 2 a.m. in the parking lot of a daiquiri shop in the 1600 block of North Sherwood Forest Blvd. 

Investigators say the 24-year-old victims were found injured in different locations. One was found in the left lane of traffic on N. Sherwood shot multiple times in the leg. His injuries are described as life-threatening. The second victim was shot in the head and located on E. Black Oak Dr. with non-life threatening injuries.

Both were transported to a local hospital.
