2 men arrested on child pornography charges
BATON ROUGE - Authorities made two separate child pornography arrests Tuesday from investigations involving the Attorney General's Cyber Crime Unit.
Law enforcement agencies arrested Anthony Schittone, 42, after they said search of his residence turned up 25 videos of children between the ages of 6-13 having sex with adults.
Schittone is charged with 25 counts of possession of child pornography. Investigators said he admitted to downloading, possessing, and viewing the material found during the arrest.
Police also arrested William Platt, 40, after they said they found downloaded child pornography during similar search of his property.
Investigators said Platt was sharing 10 videos of children having sex with adults on the internet. He also faces multiple child porn possession charges.
