BATON ROUGE - East Baton Rouge Parish sheriff's deputies are investigating an accident that killed two men and injured a third.
The accident happened around 1:05 a.m. Friday on Carey Road. Deputies say a car ran off the road and flipped over.
Twenty-seven-year-old Christopher McCoy, of Greenwell Springs, and 26-year-old Jonathan Love, of Central, were pronounced dead on the scene. A third person in the car was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Deputies believe alcohol may have been a factor in the crash, but are awaiting toxicology results.
