2 in ice cream van booked with pot possession
ALEXANDRIA - Police in Alexandria say an ice cream van pulled over by officers earlier this week wasn't just carrying ice cream.
The van was pulled over Tuesday around 7:34 p.m. after the driver failed to use a turn signal.
Police noticed that the driver and a passenger appeared nervous. So, officers searched the van and found marijuana.
Police said 18-year-old Mark Leduff was booked with possession of marijuana, failure to signal and no driver's license. A 17-year-old passenger also was booked with possession of marijuana.
