2 dead, one injured in overnight shooting on Spanish Town Road
BATON ROUGE - Two people are dead after an early morning shooting on Monday.
The shooting occurred in the 1900 block of Spanish Town Road around 1:30 a.m.
According to the East Baton Rouge Coroner's Office, 39-year-old Timothy Armstrong and 52-year-old Tyrone Brumfield were killed during the shooting.
According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, another victim was shot. EMS says the third victim was transported from the scene in stable condition.
Police have not released information about a suspect or motive at this time. This story will be updated as more information becomes available.
