2 dead in New Orleans shooting
NEW ORLEANS - A New Orleans man and his son have been fatally shot in Gentilly.
Police spokesman Officer Frank Robertson says a 64-year-old man was killed just after noon Thursday and his 42-year-old son died later after being taken to a hospital.
Robertson says officers were called out to investigate a call of two men shot in the driveway of a home. When officers arrived they found the unresponsive 64-year-old man down on the porch. He died on the scene.
The 42-year-old man was still in the driveway. He was transported to the hospital where he died.
The victims haven't been identified.
Robertson says investigators believe the victims were repairing a pickup truck in the driveway.
Robertson says investigators don't have a motive in the case.
