2 arrested in truck stop armed robbery
ZACHARY - Two Zachary men accused of robbing a truck stop in West Feliciana Parish at gunpoint early Monday morning were arrested and are still being held on additional charges, according to deputies.
Deputies said warrants were issued for Joshua Wells, 21, and Reginald Jackson, also 21, for the robbery that happened at the Southern Belle truck stop near the south end of West Feliciana Parish early on July 21.
The two men were arrested on Thursday and charged with one count of armed robbery each, according to law enforcement.
Wells and Jackson were taken to East Baton Rouge Parish Jail where they are still being held on unrelated charges from incidents that happened in Baker and Zachary.
