2-alarm house fire in Shenandoah subdivision under investigation
BATON ROUGE - Investigators with the St. George Fire Department are looking into an overnight fire that destroyed a house.
The home in the 15,000 block of Woodland Trail, in the Shenandoah area broke out just before 2 AM Friday. It took crews a few hours to declare the fire out, due to hot spots and flare-ups. The house is considered a total loss.
According to fire officials, no one was home at the time of the fire.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
