METAIRIE- The Federal Emergency Management Agency's Hurricane Isaac recovery centers in Metairie and Marrero will remain open a bit longer.
They had been scheduled to close Tuesday.
FEMA says the Marrero recovery center will be open through Oct. 16. The Metairie center will remain open through Oct. 31.
Hours are Mondays through Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
FEMA said the recovery centers are designed to assist homeowners, renters and business owners who sustained uninsured or underinsured losses to their home or personal property as a result of Hurricane Isaac.
