18-year-old killed in shooting on N. 19th Street
BATON ROUGE – Detectives are investigating a deadly shooting that happened on North 19th Street Sunday night.
According to Baton Rouge Police, the shooting happened around 9 p.m. in the 2100 block of N. 19th Street. Tekoah Matthews, 18, was seen in the roadway with apparent gunshot injuries. He was transported to a local hospital where he later died.
Police say there are no known motives or suspects at this time.
