FRESNO, Calif. - An 18-year-old woman is in jail, accused of driving under the influence as she live streamed a deadly car crash that claimed the life of her teenage sister Friday.

Obdulia Sanchez was streaming live on Instagram when she crashed her vehicle with two unrestrained teenagers in the passenger seats. The vehicle flipped over after it veered off the roadway, killing Sanchez's 14-year-old sister and seriously injuring the other passenger.

The Instagram video continued to roll through the entire ordeal, recording Sanchez as she sat up next to her sister's body.

"I killed my sister. I know I'm going to prison, but I don't care," Sanchez said in the video. "I'm sorry baby. I'm a hold it down."

Merced County Sheriff Vern Warnke told KFSN that Sanchez's 14-year-old sister was ejected from the vehicle in the crash.

Mary Hernandez of Stockton recorded the live stream and reposted it on social media.

"At first we didn't even want to believe it was real," she said. "I recorded it and posted it mainly because as someone who uses Snapchat I see a lot of people driving with their Snapchats doing what she was doing so to me it was like an eye opener."

Family members confirm the video was shot by Obdulia Sanchez. They say the victim, Jacqueline Sanchez of Stockton, was supposed to celebrate her Quinceanera Sunday.

Sanchez remains in the Merced County jail facing charges of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and driving under the influence of drugs/alcohol causing injury.

Family members started a GoFundMe page for Jacqueline's funeral expenses.
