18-wheeler wreck closes Florida Boulevard
BATON ROUGE - A wreck involving an 18-wheeler closed Florida Boulevard North in Baton Rouge during noon traffic, according to state traffic officials.
DOTD said the wreck shut down the northbound side of Florida Boulevard near its intersection with Airline Highway around 12:20 p.m.
The involved an 18-wheeler which was blocking the lanes of travel. DOTD said traffic had backed up past Goodwood Boulevard when the road reopened 20 minutes later.
There's no word of any injuries involved with this wreck.
