18-wheeler involved crash causes overnight power outage
BATON ROUGE - Utility crews are working to repair power lines in North Baton Rouge after a crash involving several vehicles Wednesday night.
According to Baton Rouge police, just before 11:30 pm a pick up truck hit an 18-wheeler in the right lane heading south at 1300 Plank Rd. The impact forced the big rig into an Entergy pole, knocking it and power lines down.
The pick-up then hit two other vehciles in a nearby parking lot.
One person was taken to a local hospital with what's described as non life-threatening injuries.
