18-wheeler fire snarls traffic
GROSSE TETE - An 18-wheeler fire caused problems for drivers headed westbound on I-10 between Baton Rouge and Lafayette this morning.
Crews reported to the fire around 11:15 am at the Grosse Tete exit.
The fire was contained to the cab of the truck and quickly extinguished.
Louisiana State Police tell News 2 the fire was not due to a wreck but possibly hot brakes.
No one was hurt.
The interstate was reopened around 11:30 am.
