18-wheeler fire closes I-10W near Gonzales
GONZALES - Authorities closed I-10 West near Gonzales after a tractor trailer caught on fire during the afternoon rush.
It happened near the LA 30 exit on I-10 West. DOTD said congestion is back to Sorrento.
The left lane re-opened at 4:20 p.m. Traffic officials asked drivers in the area to use Airline Highway as a detour through the area while they deal with the fire.
Both lanes were re-opened shortly after 6 p.m. with congestion resulting from the closure backed up to Sorrento.
There's no word on any injuries.
