16-year-old wanted, 3 others arrested after SWAT situation
BATON ROUGE- Sheriff's deputies arrested two teenagers and a 25-year-old after a shooting and quiet stand-off Wednesday night.
Raven Harris, 19, Garrett Burton, 18, and Joyrie Knighton, 25, are charged in connection with the shooting on Vancouver Drive, off the new Central Thruway. No people were injured, but a bullet hit a house nearby, on Quebec Drive.
Wendie Canada was inside the house when her house was hit with a bullet.
"I was scared for everyone's life, they got bullets coming through my house," she said.
Investigators believe the shooting spawned from an argument between a group of people, the three arrested and a 16-year-old who is still at large.
Deputies said Knighton fired the shots and faces four counts of attempted first degree murder and illegal use of a weapon. Harris and Burton face principal to attempted first degree murder.
Knighton and Burton were hiding in the attic of a house when they were arrested a few doors down from where the shooting happened.
